Cathy Hill is the Manager of Vitalia MedSpa. She comes with a proven record in organization skills, management, and leadership, having gained those skills during her career with the U.S. Geological Survey, an earth science organization in which she held several Senior Executive positions. Cathy has a passion for helping people look and feel their best. Her lifelong interest in health has now translated to an interest in helping people look their best through the use of the latest noninvasive laser techniques. Cathy believes that when you look your best, you feel your best; you have an increased sense of energy and vitality. That is why she chose the name “Vitalia” for her MedSpa. Cathy’s goal is to provide a warm, relaxing, and safe environment for clients to be treated by expert professionals in skin care, with the focus always being on customer care.

Dr. Roberta Gartside

Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery

Dr. Roberta Gartside, M.D., F.A.C.S is one of the leading plastic surgeons in the Mid-Atlantic region, and was recognized in the Feb. 2007 issue of Washingtonian Magazine as one of the area's Top Plastic Surgeons. She was similarly recognized by Northern Virginia magazine in its February 2007 issue. Dr. Gartside is a cum laude graduate of Elizabethtown College. She attended Temple University School of Medicine and completed her general surgery residency at the Medical Center Hospital of Vermont, University of Vermont. She then attended George Washington University Medical Center for residency and chief residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Gartside is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the National Capitol Society of Plastic Surgeons, as well as the Fairfax Medical Society. She is also a Team Member in Operation Smile and a Physician Coordinator and Advisor for the Fairfax County SkinDeep Tattoo Removal Program.

Allison graduated in 1994 from NVCC’s Nursing Program and has since used her skills in Internal Medicine, Cardiology and Laser Surgery. She has always had a strong interest in Aesthetic nursing and feels fortunate to be able to use her nursing knowledge in this exciting field. Allison feels that, “Helping patients address and transform their skin concerns with the use of Botox and dermal fillers is very rewarding and I love to see how happy it makes them.”

Sheila earned her BS/RN nine years ago from Wayne State Univ. Sheila comes to Vitalia with a wealth of experience, she has specialized in reproductive endocrinology, general and plastic surgery. She spent the last 5 years as an aesthetic injector. All of this along with her advanced training in Botox and dermal fillers makes Sheila a "Star" here at Vitalia MedSpa. When asked what drew her to aesthetics she said, "I like the artistry involved in injectibles and helping people feel good about themselves.

Kim has been in the aesthetic industry for over thirty years. Where she really shines is in giving honest skin care suggestions and procedures to boost self esteem or to give her clients a competitive edge at a time where the work force is working later in life. Kim graduated from Light Speed Laser Academy in Naples, FL in 1999; which makes her one of the most experienced Cosmetic Laser Technicians in the Washington area. When she gives consultations it is easy to see her passion in her work, "Skin Rejuvenation treatments are most rewarding procedures to see facial veins and spots dissolve on the skin."

Deanne is a Master Medical Aesthetician who in 2005 started her training. Her experience has led her to North Carolina, Utah and Virginia. She has worked with peels, lasers and make-up. If you ask her why she is in the MedSpa business she will tell you that she loves her job.

Having been a business owner in the construction industry for over 15 years, changing careers has been both exciting and a challenge for Heidi. While her husband was on a two-year assignment in the Chicago area, Heidi discovered the MedSpa industry. During that period she had the good fortune to be able to be a part of a new medspa from the day they opened their doors. This afforded her the opportunity learn and grow with a whole new business and to acquire the skills needed to be able to manage Vitalia MedSpa. Being at the end of the baby boom, Heidi is fascinated with the science of "being able to truly look ageless". To her growing old gracefully, is growing old beautifully and she is happy to share these secrets with Vitalia's clients.

We feel so lucky to have Martha with us at Vitalia. She is Internationally known for her work with SofTap TM Permanent Make-up. Martha works with two of the area's distinguished Plastic Surgeons and has agreed to come to Vitalia on Wednesday's so that our clients may have the opportunity of her services. Attended NC State University, the Ana Visage Esthetic Program, and the International Dermal Institute. She has worked at a local Dermatology Center training under a prominent cosmetic dermatologist. Dianne feels her speciality is the "relaxation of the facial"

Graduated from the Elizabeth Grady School of Esthetics in Medford, MA. Her experience has afforded her the opportunity to work beside one of the best known Comedic Dermatologist in the area. She has treated her clients to chemical peels, custom facials, and laser treatments. Jillian feels one of her specialties is understanding the complexities of ethnic skin.
